Enjoying a Saturday morning coffee while watching the puppies.
I waited till they got good and tired from playing before attempting to take any photos of them.
Penelope loves the puppies too.
This day we explored new territory on Vedder Mt, walking a bit farther north on the train tracks, to this creek that flows beside Corwin's new home. We climbed up a faint trail left of the tracks. There were 2 ropes on 2 seperate trails that led to the creek.
We found a third old water reservoir.
This concrete aqueduct was in the creek, to the left of the water reservoir.
The aqueduct. From the second rope we followed a good trail to Majuba Hill.
Vinkas.
April 24, Sunday
As is the tradition, our family usually hikes up to the old barn on Vedder Mt, behind our place. This takes about an hour. Hiking back down goes faster than driving because you have to drive all the way past Cultus Lake to Columbia Valley to access the 4WD road.
Daddy making a swing. Amy concentrating on not letting the marshmelow burn.
Case, Les, Amy & Roger drove up. They were there 10 minutes before we arrived.
Ian's cattle.
5:00pm and the lighting is so pretty.
Western Spring Beauties.
Curled heads of the Fiddle Head ferns begin to pop through the bed of dead leaves.
Lovely shots as usual
