Jan. 1 -- An odd phenomenon on the Fraser River by the Agassiz bridge.

These ice floes are not uncommon to the our area, but what makes this year's unique, is the size of the ice chunks, some over 6' high! This is due to the combination of drought, cold and rain this past year.

We were on the north side of the river.


Then we hopped back in the car and drove to the south side.
